hey everyone since ive had my ute on a cold start it has a bit of a delay start b4 firing up, its had all its services and been checked out, its running fine ive just heard that its not suposed to do that and its been happening to heaps of ppl any ideas on what it maybe, cud it be that i need 6 new injectors? or is it something else?
Is it running rough on start up (shuddering badly)? Or do you have to crank it for a while before it starts? Or both? I ask because your thread title and description don't mesh. If it is taking a while to start I would guess it is a fuel pressure (pump or pressure regulator), dirty injectors, or spark (plugs, leads or coil) issue. If it is running rough on start it could be a number of things. I haven't had any issues since doing an ECU reset and cleaning the throttle body. I am sure others may have some more insightful comments.
