    ok so im up for a new diff and the at the present its got an LSD im not sure if there are different varients ie regular or performance, at the moment the tag says 3.08 performance

    I'm pretty sure the performance sticker means is was either out of a v8, or factory LSD. not sure which one. sorry, not much help I know

    i think it wouldnt matter as long as you didnt get a jap inport one, but as long as the gear set is the same nothing should be different, you only get performance kinda when you get higher gears, altho for normal driving 3.08 is good

    there is only one type of LSD in holdens which is the cone style. HSV did a hydra-track in limited senators. the performance tag normally refers to the LSD. your options are to reco yours with new/better springs or upgrade to KAAS centre or fit something like a 9" ford diff. if your only using it for daily use and some performance use reco'ing yours is your best bet. if your after some more go/quicker takeoffs etc consider a ratio upgrade, maybe 3.46:1, you could go 3.7 or 3.9 as well but goingto such a ratio will start effecting your fuel mileage
