Hi all, well the drivers window regulator decided to pack it in today, just wondering if anyone has tackled replacing the reg yet and if anyone has any tips or tricks to do the job. Anyone with a diagram that i could use would be helpful. I have changed a few regs before but none on a commodore. Thanks in advance
hi champ, welcome to the forums in the how-to section theres a great write-up on how to install power windows, which is kinda the proceedure ur after. its fairly easy to do, u'll need to drill the rivits holding the reg in, and grab some 5mm bolts to replace the studs. can get nut n bolt packs from supercheap for a few bucks. all in all take your time. i think from memory you can only get 5 bolts in even thou theres 6 holes. pull the door skin off and have a quick gander, put your hand up in the door around the reg n have a feel for the rivits just to familiarise yourself how tight it is in there. let us know how u go :thumbsup:
