VS Ecotec engine into vp?

what about putting a vs ecotec in a 95 vr, i blew my motor in the vr and my brother wrote off his vs, but the motor n box arestill good, minus the radiator n what ever was in the front passenger corner behind the headlight.

If? the engine bolts straight onto the old auto then you can just run the engine on the old computer and loom and it's all cool.

Hey guys, i'm doing this conversion too, ive got an ecotec bolted onto my VP gearbox, with VS computer and wiring harness. So if i'm understanding correctly, can the VS engine be run off the VP computer and harness? I ask because ive finished the install, and it just won't fire up. Is there something im missing?

hi guys, my mate has a vs engine in his vn using the vn ecu.. it was auto now manual, just wondering how/what wires do you use to wire the revers lights??
