Vs ecu

G'day all put a new ecu in my vs ,started an ran then after about five minutes everything shut down no dash lights nothing any ideas appreciated

Why did you replace the old one? What happens when you use the old one?

I replaced it cos the fan wasn't working tried all the othere tricks disconecting the temp sensor ect ect , put a test light on the low fan relay and then everything shut down ,not sure but might have arced it out

Put the old one back in no difference still have nothing,no fuel pump noise no dash lights nothing on the key

Look at your main fuse, but I doubt the ECU will be the cause of your fan issue.

I've seen on here before about the fan not cutting in and the steps u go through to eliminate the problem and to see if the fan is stuffed so that was my last shot but I'll give it go I think I've created a problem trying to fix one so I'll do some more research cheers
