VS - engine won't start HELP!

I got a VS, yesterday it was overheating, so i checked the radiator and reserve and added some engine oil jsut in case, I started and left the engine running. It then justed stopped. I treid to restart the car and the engine wouldn't kick, I dont think it is the battery as the lights and radio still work but the engine just won't turn over )doesn't even try) the security light is no longer flashin and the key wont lock or unlock the car....any ideas?:wax:

is the starter motor turning?? like is the engine cranking over? cause the stater motor might of s hit its self but that would not of caused the car to "It then justed stopped "

It may be the alternator. Might not have been charging the battery enough from previous operations and might have shat itself altogether hence why the car would have turned off (alternator), and then failed to restart. (flat battery due to alternator fault). That may be one reason but i'm not too sure why the security lights and key wont work, while at the same time the accessories work. It is possible that the starter or solenoid has gone but its hard to say cause there is a lot of different things that could possibly be wrong.

It would be wise to check the fault codes, this will help if you have never done it before:

and here is a list of what the codes represent
