Vs Esteem Immobiliser

Any tips on how to disengage what I presume is immobiliser?

Someone tried to steal my car last night and accessories have now started working after leaving the car for a few hours. But the engine doesn't crank or make any attempts to start.

leave your key in the ignition in the accessories position for 45 minutes if its a VS series 1, or 120 minutes if its a series 2
this will disable the immobiliser, worked a treat for me
