Looks good mate, Don't know about "The Bass Station" but it looks cool. Why the floor get ya defected?, It would have look good when it was finished. You cover the box and do the door trims yourself and get them done, I need to do my doors, i had the standard trims.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
the fake floor got defected cause apparently it all has 2 be bolted down and apart of the car so in an accident it doesnt fly up and out of the boot and hit any1...i had it so you could lift it up so you could get to my spare tire if i ever needed it.....i didnt cover them myself the guy who built my sub box did it and the doors were done by another mate but im told its not hard at all...wasnt expensive and looks awesome
ah wiked another wagon same as mine sept yours has better paint and interior.are you going to keep the same set up or change it:thumbsup:
awesome wagon but im not a fan of the rear lights but other than that it looks good and i reckon it would sound good:whistling
Hahahah you didn't nick that reference from a certain old name of a certain hard trance club that was a the Palace in St.Kilda before it was burnt / knocked down did you? Hehehehe i used to go there amongst other clubs hahaha. I like the console cover! Did you fibreglass it over? Good work!
hahahaha dude nah didnt flog it from that....just started to call it when i got the dual subs cause everyone kept complainin they could hear me everywhere so when i started callin it the bass station so did every1 else... nah didnt cover the console with fibreglass wish i did tho cause its startin to crack slightly....
Ohhh you just bogged it. Get it all off, or buy a new cover, fibreglass it, and then bog it....... Then you will have no wukkin furries!
I like what you've done, but my only criticism is that in some areas it doesn't look right, e.g. there's a smudge on the green dash facia above the speed alert, and it looks funny with no ashtray in the centre console. I've had extended ideas on these which I'm surprised you didn't use e.g. cutting the ashtray open and hiding switches in it for the amp etc instead of using it as an ashtray. The cracking you mentioned before is a worry, how long does the paint last on the plastic bits? checkout my wagon here: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/vr-vs/61214-my-ride-vs-s1-wagon.html?highlight=wagon Have a look around for the little addon's you can get for these cars so you can give yourself some ideas. I strongly recommend doing a Level 3 Dash upgrade to change appearance, and you'll be able to paint the inner facia surround of the cluster green as well (not the actual guage backgrounds, but the inner facia surround) to match the rest of your dash, which after all this work you've gone to - it would look pretty neat. I like the fake floor idea, but I agree, what a pain in the butt if you want to get to your spare tyre. What I did here was mount a kenwood 12" speaker up on it's side so it clears the wheel arch and I tucked in a 2700W amp which just clears between the flat angled side of the sub and wheel arch. I can still put down the rear seats and use them for the great things a wagon is good for, and can still access the spare tyre with ease. I'm still yet to tidy it up, but it's defineately not annoying me with the amount of boot space used now. (See pic below). I've tried all sorts of things too, and also had a 2 x 10" Sub box behind the rear seat which I ended up removing entirely. I'm yet to do something with the berlina speaker grills too as the ones I've got are grey and I've got the blue interior similar to yours but I'm gonna go a different shade of blue here and go an aluminium / blue / black scheme!
