Hey guys not sure if this is where i should post so sorry
I want to get a new 2.5" exhaust in so my car sounds nice,, the exhaust shop said they'd sell me one fitted for $380... now i look on ebay and there's redback exhausts for vs for only $199 +$40 postage.. & apparently it's pretty simple to get on?
So what's my best bet here? cheers.
Edit: the exhaust shop sells redback & lukey by the way they're advertised all over & outside the shop.

I paid $900 for my exhaust system on the VS. Pacemaker extractors, standard cat, 1x redback sports muffler, 2.5 inch exhaust, VT SS tip. Sounds awesome. Price included getting fitted.

the only issue " maybe " you might have is the flanges...if you buy the correct system and make sure it is ( example, wagon/statesman VERSUS sedan and irs / live axle ) u might need to modify where it bolts up to your cat..wont be hard if u have the correct flanges lying around to cut and weld and bolt up.. id pay the $380 mate gives warranty on fitting for a few months atleast.. Theyre only charging you about 100 dollars for fitment, keep in mind supplying bolts / rubbers / gaskets / gasket glue etc.. Its worth the piece of mind.
