Vs commodore Ute
Hi everyone

Ive got a vs series II ute, which up until Friday arvo was running just fine
Tried moving my Ute at smoko when it wouldnt start, would crank over fine but wouldn’t start. Was low on fuel so put 5 litres in, still nothing.
Thought it mighta been the fuel pump since this has happened before, so swapped out the pump for a new one that same day. Still wouldn’t start.
Installed second hand dfi unit with coil packs today and it still won’t start.
Anyone know what might be wrong? Thanks guys.

Connor

I can’t hear the fuel pump that’s what I’m thinking it is. The dfi and coil packs were cooked and had to be changed (throwing no spark). I unplugged the fuel line from the tank to the filter and turned it over and had nothing. I’m thinking there’s no power to the pump?

How do I check for codes?

You haven't accidentally swaped the lines around? That happened to me when I replaced the pump in the ute. Its easy done.

I thought about maybe I’ve swapped the return and fuel line up but I’d still get power to it and hear it wouldn’t i?
