vs fuel pump

    Can anyone help me. I have the petrol tank out of my vs wagon, so I can replace the fuel pump. I am having difficulty getting it and the sender out. It comes out about 100 mm then somethings caught. I have never done it before....help!!

    You have to twist it around and hold your tongue right. It is fiddly, but it comes out.

    Just dont force it. I know its hard. It seems to get stuck and doesnt want to move no matter what you do. From memory, you need to rotate it clockwise. It feels more natural to go anti-clockwise, but gets stuck. Im pretty sure you have to go clockwise. Just keep trying, it will come. Having the tank out should make it easier. I did the bugger under the car, very frustrating.
