Hey guys, bought what i thought was a bargin, However, it doesnt look right. The fuel pump electrical connects or O-terminals, not a plug, theres no return line and the sender fuel gauge bit looks different. The part number on it is 92023582 but it doesnt match to anything. Also has the number stamped into is as well as VDO. Any ideas?

If it doesn't have the return line I'd say it's VN- early VP sender. I'm pretty sure that was the only one I could have bought new through Holden Spare Parts a couple of years ago too.

The fuel level sender part is different between VN-VR and VS.

Without the return line you can't use it (unless you want to also swap in a VN-VP tank and mess about getting the gauge to read correctly) so maybe just have to sell it on (to someone with a VN or VP).

Thanks for the reply. Just sent a message to the bloke that sold it. Bit of a pitty it's not a vs one, was lolling forward to replacing my stuffed one.
