    Hello
I am normally in the VN VP section but I went for a quick look in here and read your message. Now while the VN VP dash might look the same the main difference and the biggest problem for you is the printed circuite board on the back..All the gauges inside will fit over with a bit of playing arund but dont stick the VN Surrounds in the VS dash or you will find you will short the dash out and much smoke will come out from the VN dash. Dont do it in short. if you must replace your VS dash replace it with a VR VS one and play it safe.

I dont have a VR/VS but I have tried the VR dash after a guy that owned a wreckers told me they would fit. He was foolish in sayign they are and THEY ARE NOT THE SAME WIRING...

    That is right.

You can cross VN/VP and VR/VS clusters, but you will have to re-wire to avoid smoke.

Best to buy the correct one. They are regularly available on Ebay.
