Vs commodore
Hey all,

I own a V6 vs commodore but it’s auto, I know the bell housing for the v8 and V6 are different lengths (40mm) and the V6 is 23 teeth and the v8 is a 24 tooth, I want to have a manual V6 for a bit then I’ll v8 swap it, can I cut the spline and change the bell hoisting later on when I want the v8 or do I have to buy 2 different gearboxes
Was going to use the t5 box

Can you use the V8 box and space the V6 clutch out to meet the input shaft?
Might just be easier to do the V8 and manual conversion all in the one hit.

Yeah that would be awsome but I’m only on my learners now and was hoping to be in my own manual car soon, my parents all drive autos and I need to learn asap
