hi people, might be a stupid question but here goes, when i turn the high beam lights on there is no high beam light up on the dash. And every other dash light still seems to work. Is there a fuse for just the high beam dash light or would the problem be in the wiring somewhere??

    Single fuse I think.

My sister wanted to see how bright it was getting highbeamed last night, so I highbeamed a car hoping that it would highbeam back...it was a police 4WD, oops.

I dunno , don't think there is a fuse for each dash light cos you would have about 30 fuses just for the dash.. But i hope somone knows cos my green crs ( cruise ) light doesn't work but the orange one does and the cruise still works. I reckon its a blown globe in the instrument cluster ?

it def must be a blown bulb on the cluster.

as a matter of fact, you do not need to remove anything at all to get to the bulb other than the fold down fuse panel.

heres a shot of under the dash.

simply twist the black cap off and the bulb is in there,

although, i am not to sure if you can buy a new bulb WITH the black cap

but i usually just rip out the old bulb from the cap and slide it in and bend the legs of the new bulb.

everytime i go to the wreckers...

i be sure to grab all the fuses, globes and small bits and pieces that the guys at the pay office let you have for free.... always come in handy for times like this!
