Vs II exec comes with IRS?

I was just wondering f my VS II exec would come with IRS.

It should be written under the stereo console next to the ABS by memory.

Look under the rear of the car and also when you put it in drive when the engine is on the rear end drops about a half inch (it does on my car).

Its very simple to see if you know what it is. Basically IRS means that you have 2 seperate bars leading to the rear wheels from the diff. Normal is when there is just 1 big straigt black bar. Most VS commodores are normal only calias etc had IRS. IRS is standart on VT onwards

Mates VR Berlina series II......................IRS
My Vs Berlina series I...........................IRS
Mates VS Berlina series II.....................IRS
Bloke up the road VS Berlina series II....No IRS

My VS series 1 has IRS, so does my friends.... But yeah it was an extra...

sorry for sounding stupid but y would it be standard on the vs acclaim and not the berlina? i thought berlina was one class up from acclaim?

Acclaim was a "family safety" package and as such marketing put IRS in standard due to the increased handling abilities IRS has over live axle. In reality unless you start to push a bit hard into corners IRS will make bugger all difference.

Thanks guys, l needed to know as l was gettting my car lowered and l needed to know if l had IRS or not, unfortunately, l don't , oh well, my cars lowered now and looking nice. I'll post pictures soon.
