Hi,

Just bought a VS II executive with 155K km's on the clock. She had issues starting up, got a new battery coz it was 10 years old. However she still doesn't like starting immediatly after a drive. I had the alternator and starter checked by supercheap auto (don't know how good they are).

Just looking for some sanity checks before I put it in with the mechanic on 7th Feb, does it sound like a wiring issue?

Thanks

Next time it doesn't start pour some water on the crank sensor located on the left side of the crank pulley AKA balancer. It sounds like the CAS is failing, pretty common issue when they get on a bit.

I'm assuming you have a V6?
