ok, so this is hte drama have a person i know with a vs s2 auto wagon. idle the car up, it idles quite nicely, put it in gear, it goes into gear, put foot down, it dies. we changed gearbox (dont ask they told me box was shaged) yet issue still persits, it honestly feels like it's stumbling to breath or not getting enough fuel when acelerator is applied ideas?
just read codes before got the following 12 No RPM Signal OK stationary engine 22 TPS Voltage Low -auto trans code 23 IAT Voltage High 32 MAF Out of Range 35 Idle Speed Error 58 Transmission Fluid Temp. -auto trans code Voltage Low 66 3-2 Shift Control Solenoid Circuit Fault -auto trans code 67 TCC ON-OFF Solenoid Control Circuit -auto trans code 69 TCC Stuck ON -auto trans code 81 2-3 shift Control Solenoid Circuit Fault -auto trans code 82 1-2 Shift Control Solenoid Circuit Fault -auto trans code 83 Torque Converter Clutch PWM Circuit -auto trans code it pretty much spat every single transmistion code out at us. upon investigation it would apear that the plug for the gearbox might not be in the right spot. we are unable to get to the plug properly so we might have to drop the arse of the box down adn do it that way. would this explain the codes? or is the car about to blow up?
found the problem. when they put the gearbox back together they failed to plug in the sensors and stuff that are located inside the box. idiots. every single plug is un-pluged, lucky for us we kept the old box, pluged it all in, and bingo, it works.
