Yeah they lack 'feel' you get with sedans or later model cars like vu-z utes which still have some grip when get off the gas & rear comes back....you can be decent a drifter but go wide enough & button off rear end of vg-s ute less likely to come back as nice.

Burnouts,Powerskids & stepping them out they're fun as hell.

Kind of think a lot if is not having fuel tank behind rear axle...mine actually feels quicker with full tank & 2 wheels up againat tailgate than it does empty tray & 1/4 tank of fuel.

So you'll remember the front end collapsed when I got home from roll racing..

Turns out it was my lucky day.. and mostly my fault..

When I bought this, was from Tassie and the previous owner dropped it to the depot, they complained it was too low.

So he wound up the front suspension.. I should of wound it back down..

So my daughter got involved and helped me put it back together, didn't take long and it's all good now.. just got to lower the other side and all good..

I'm sure there's a tool that you can use to use on those adjusters, but for the life of me I can't remember what they are called.. LOL I'd much prefer to get the tool than use my knockmetre :)

I've got some spacers to put on it also..

A good clean and some anti-seize on those threads wouldn't hurt either.

This is the 2nd time I've seen this fault occur recently on this forum.

100%
first thing I thought of as it broke going up my driveway,
considering I just drove it home 90 mins and was doing over 150 down the straight etc.

I would suggest buying a lottery ticket but your luck might be used up :D

Glad you found the problem and it is an easy cheap fix

So, pretty excited today,

Taking the L67 to Brush works in Nudgee this arvo.

Getting the new snout/pulley fitted
New E85 Injectors supplied and fitted.
Dyno tune.
He told me to bring 60 litres of E85 just for the dyno tune..

There's a servo under 10 mins from my place, I filled up 3 jerry cans with E85.. was only 1.65 per litre.. very happy about that.

Then going back when Barry is tuning it on the Dyno to get some video of it.

Unfortunately can't get a "before" dyno done.. too much time to hook it up, then the time to wait for it to cool down again.. So that makes sense.. just would of been nice to see what it's doing right now..

Then roll racing this friday night with the newly tuned L67..

Then I'll take it to the drags again, this time with the new tune and 3.9 gearing and hopefully decent tyres by that time and we'll see how it does.

Then power cruise at queensland raceway in september. got a few people we've got to know going there, should be fun.
