you can see they didn't come back to the top..

So I'll get the car back later today or most likely tomorrow..

then I'll rip the plugs out and stick the camera down the spark plug holes and see what we find.

Powercruise this weekend at Queenland raceway. Not sure if I should go or not..heres the list of events by day at powercruise.

That doesn't look to bad, most of the coating is still intact. Looks like some debris has gone through it and cause some scoring but overall seems to be in decent shape.

Are you upgrading the lifters? LS7 lifters are a drop in replacement and basically a factory upgrade.

The lifters in my old V6 were like that when they came out. Funny thing was apart from a rattle on start for about a minute or two they were fairly quiet.

MACE used to do lightened and re-coated rotors. I'd love a set of those.

So I got a call this arvo at 5:30 "Cars ready"

Yay... go and pick it up.. still noisy lifters, but "nowhere" near as much.

bring it home, taking it easy.. it's going really nice..

Got daughters semi finals in soccer tonight.. so I jump in it, leave the steep driveway.. yap.. passenger rear spring drops out again LOL..

Luckily the super lowered springs had arrived, so I limp it back around to the back of my property reverse it into the garage.. and fit the new shorter shocks. was going to do them tomorrow anyways..

Left new super low shocks, center last ones I put in. right the original ones that came when I bought it.

There's good news and bad news.

Springs no longer falling out..

On the way home from Soccer from an over pass, down onto the highway at night, no one around etc.. thought I'd check from 2nd to 3rd in the auto.. dang it's ballin.. slow down, go over to the servo to get some E85.. slow down. Turn the stereo down..

damn.. new noise.. sounded just like an alternator bearing screeching or chattering screech, I've never heard a blower bearing gone, but I'd guess that's what it sounds like..

So at the servo was under the bonnet listening, and revving the engine by hand etc.. it went away.. Sh*t...

so on the way home.. tested it in second a little. and went good then missed.. so backed off and drove home for 5 mins.. taking it easy..

right now it's quiet.. apart from some lifter noise still but way better than before..

they replaced the lifters with stock ones. which is ok considering it's still got stock valve springs in it.. I'll get them done the same time etc.

So much for the Powercruise this weekend..

When I picked it up, I was like a little kid again LOL driving it home.. was awesome. .

Was going to take my daughter for a drive after soccer etc.. or give her a drive etc.. but I'll let her know about it tomorrow..
