    Just after some clarification guys.

Looking at putting a VT/VX/Vy v6 into my VS. i dont need the management from the same car to run it do i? if i use all the sensors, plugs ins etc from my motor it would work right?

Im just not 100% sure thats all

I'm pretty sure the computer is quite different in later models to compensate the little changes / upgrades done to the engine. Not sure, but I believe that you'll benefit greatly with the more recent computer system in these later models.

Vx onwards have 152Kw and vt pretty much same as the Vs with 147kw.

i belive VX has better engine management and some changes to the intake manifold to give it extra power
also the vy has a larger sump

What i want to know tho, guys, is that will the VT/VX/VY motor "plug in" and run using the ecu, sensors and bolt ons off my current motor? surely it would right? since its the same motor, except has a better 'brain'

Talk to a specialist or a mechanic, they could probably give you a good answer.
