I have just lowered my vs sedan with King springs (ultra low). I havent lowered a car this low before and have some problems you
guys might be able to help me with.

When lowereing the rear one side sat lower than the other(about 10mm) I removed the rubber spacer on the body and it seemed to fix the height. But this isnt a fix, I was puzzled why this was. Springs were sitting where that shoulds be in there grooves.

Now the guards rub on the rear tyres. Both left and right (I think, definatly the left) I know a adjustable pan hard rod will fix this...but it the right is doing it...this will solve nothing. I`m running 234/45/17. Will I need to roll the guards, I thought 17`s wouldnt cause this issue. If so whats guard rolling worth.

Would bad rear shockers cause this? I still have standard shocks all around. Will some HD rear shocks reduce the suspension travel and help with keping the tyre away from the guard.

Should the front sit abit higher than the rear?

    Springs used are

    front khfl-47ssl
    rear khfl20sl

    Live axle rear end.

Standard shocks will last a week at best on ultra lows mate.....I put SL's in mine and got around a week before the shocks completely gave out

You don't need to roll the guards for 17" wheels. I had 19" wheels on my VS (live axle) and they didn't rub. Replace all the shocks, get an adjustable pan hard rod and you should be right.

SSL isn't ultra low, SSL is Super Super low, SSSL is Ultra low from what I can remember. You shouldn't be having that much trouble, as I have 19" on SSL all around my Calais and that is IRS. Front struts are Monroe GT Gas Struts and the Rear are the factory ones.... Which need to be changed because they have traveled 249,xxxk's lol

well thats what the king springs catalogue says. What shocks would you recomeend, just replace with some standard height HD ones, shortended?

If you have SSL in the rear, I would go shortened shocks.
