Looks like the driver's side header is going to be way tighter than I thought.

Also a bit confused as to how people have fit the LS1 into a VR or VS because of where the brake booster is. I had to take my coil packs off to bolt the engine mounts up because the coils where propping the engine up off the abs and brake booster. Looks like the cheapest option may be to relocate the coils on that side.

Has anyone use the starter motor conversion from a t racing world. It looks similar to the other ones. It's obvious I need to cut some of the bellhousing out. I'm just wondering if I can just chop a chunk out or if I need to cut the starter motor hump out from the other side and weld it in place in the new location as well. Any thoughts on leaving an exposed hole right there where the starter motor engages the flywheel

No, but parts from A.T. Racing world have an extremely poor reputation for quality and fitment. Would suggest you try to find other threads where people have used the starter conversion to see what they have done or had to do with ones from other companies as you don't want to leave an open hole. Worth mentioning that CRS seem to include a crank spacer with theirs if yours didn't come with one.

Yeah so that big silver disk.. stuffed if I can tell where that goes. I've started cutting into the bellhousing. Got the starter in. Sounds like I'll be pulling it all apart again though.
I'll take a photo of the left over bits I got next time I'm working on it

It's probably a spacer to go behind the concentric slave cylinder.
