got a work mate who has a vs maloo ute, and he has heard that the vl gears out of the stock exec will give him more pick up and boogie. as a result i have given him a entire vl diff, with teh standard ratio. now, question is will the entire vl axle assemblty bolt up to the rear of the maloo, or do we need to remove the gears and put them in that way.?

    cheers

The entire assembly will bolt in but from what i remember the diff is slightly shorter so the wheels may scrub on the inside guards...

    Cheers

P.S- Stock VL diff gears are 3:45... check the dif tag

Keen to see how this goes as a bit more pick up and boogie is a good thing!
