Hi all new member and first post! I have recently purchased an automatic HSV 1995 VS manta wagon build no.86. Immaculate condition inside and outside, interior is cloth with leather trim. Elec side mirrors option. 105xxx ks, drives extremely nice and not a scratch on it. To my current knowlege im sure there was only 26 manta wagons made,i have never seen one before.. I have done a bit of research and couldnt really find much, only 1 for sale in australia at the moment in a car yard. i purchased from original owner of 21 years, original book and all service history.. still has the stock fire extinguisher in the boot haha. Really i am looking for other owners of this particular car because to me they seem rare (26 made) and also looking for a rough value cause i cant seem to find much information on them. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, also can post pics once its out of the shop getting the distributor changed Thanks in advance
201 manual, 28 auto's made between april 95 - june 96. This is what ive seen on another forum. I would say if all original it would be worth a bit to a collector mate
Got it fairly cheap as guy was leaving country, worth flicking for some profit or store in shed ? Its too nice not to drive but i beleive value will go uppp in a few years
Manta was the "poor man's" Clubsport so I doubt that it would be worth as much as a Clubsport of similar vintage. However, I could be wrong. I can send you a four page Manta article from the HSV "Innovators" book if you are interested. PM me with your email address - too large to fit on the forum.
