Just me again guys, the old boot for the gear stick was cracked and split so I bought a new one, Problem I have now is that it is popping out of 2nd and 4th gears, I'm guessing it's just because it's new and stiff but they were all new and stiff at one stage I suppose.... Is there a quick way I can fix this it's becoming annoying... Cheers
use a leather boot? your shifter would have to be pretty loose for the boot to pull it out of gear? My gear selector is pretty firm to shift
Yeah but I don't really want a leather one, I was quite happy with the original one but it was split up the top.... Is there a way to make the shift tighter if thats what it is, I would of just assumed I could put the new boot on and it wwould work without a problem...
