vs open to lsd

I have searched, so sorry if its been asked before, I have an irs open wheel vs commy and my mate is looking at selling his bt1 vr Irs lsd. Can I just swap crown and pinion, do I have to swap whole center or do I have to do center plus the drive train to the wheels? Cheers.

Just swap the whole center over, it's way easier than cracking it open. Unless its flogged and needs a reco.
