Hi Guys. '97 VS Wagon When driving, intermittently all indicators flash as if the remote locking button has been pressed. Obviously a problem when actually driving the car. I have tried: Replace Flasher Relay Replace Ignition Key - Now same problem with 2 different keys. Temporary workaround. I have removed the fuse from Hazard Warning Lights. I can still hear the actuator clicking while driving, but the lights don't flash any more. That fixed the immediate safety issue. Now all remote locking and indicator lights work correctly, except no indicators flashing when I use the remote locking. Plus of course no hazard warning lights. I suspect maybe a faulty remote sensor sending signals to the actuator or the actuator itself. I'm not familiar with the locking system at all, I don't even know where the sensors are. Any help would be appreciated Cheers Steve
Best to check that the wiring is securely plugged into the door actuator and that the door loom wiring is not damaged, causing a short, especially where it runs through the door loom. Do all doors lock and unlock ok?
So the sensors are located in the doors ? Pardon the ignorance, not familiar with the remote locking system at all. Yes all remote locking and unlocking works correctly. Just no flashing indicators due to Hazard Warning fuse removed Indicators work correctly when turning
