yeap thats right. coil packs ontop, dfi module underneath.

to the guys that are having problems.. I've re-read the last couple pages and to be honest i cant keep track of whats goin on lol. its great to throw ideas round n whatnot, but without checking the simple things, most often things that dont cost a thing, u can go swapping bits n pieces for nothing hurting ur hip pocket. Dont get me wrong, im not sayin that this is the wrong way around, but its best to work on process of elimination. the thought process behind all of this is awesome, and so far everyone is doing a great job.

stuff that dont cost a penny..
clean your battery terminals
check & clean/renew your earth wires
check all hoses, vacuum & coolent for leaks
check sensor/operation plug wires for damage
follow simple guides to test/check electrical devices (like teh above dfi heat check)
check & note down codes
clear codes, then check again in a week

maintanence..
oil change
filter renewal
check/top up coolent (bleed)
check plugs/leads renew if necessary

I have specific codes which i am/have been slowly (work has been busy) working on. tomorrow i have a day off, so im purchasing new o2 sensors which should be the final piece to solve my puzzle, i've done all the small things.

I should post in continuing from the code 31... I have 5 volts at the connector mentioned above (perfect), so it looks like the TDM needs replacing!
At least i'm getting somewhere now... (hopefully)

I checked resistance on leads etc, all seemed good :)

woohoo., i've found my problem
Turns out, that my petrol is leaking, which is really odd, since i've checked it a few times allready.

The leak is right behind just before the fuel filter (I think), definately under a lot of pressure since it's now spraying.

I just went down and grabbed a fuel filter, so I should know for sure if this fixes it.

Don't know if it's that 100% yet, i'm quit confident it is though.
I think I didn't find the original leak as it wasn't as bad, or it was spraying on top of something (the tank?)

Got the car on ramps atm, Should replace later. I got pics too.

As you can see from the picture i've included, it looks like the last guy to own the car, only replaced one side of the hose, only a pin-prick actually makes it through completely.
I bought a new fuel filter yesterday, i'm pretty sure that it will cost me less than $1 for the hose (I think it was $8/meter last time I bought some)

Hopefully this will fix it all.

As a bonus, should improve my bad economy also.

Yeh - If you ZIP or RAR it.

Otherwise, find somewhere else on the net to upload it, then paste the link here

The good news: No more petrol smell (nor leaks)
The bad news: Car still won't run well.

Took it down the mechanics... He seemed very confident it's a coil (or maybe spark plugs), told me to try coil first (he knows I have 2 VR's I can play with), So i'm gonna swap the 3 over later and see if that improves anything.
