VS s2 trans cooling

hey all have a series 2 vs with the screw in transmission cooling lines into the radiator have just noticed that the previous owner has cross threaded the new radiator what are the Pro's and Con's on bypassing radiator and installing a trans cooler unit (after market)

I've bypassed the rad in both my cars. I've had no problems.

Bypass the radiator and get a front mounted B&M trans cooler.

cheers for the responses was heading down that path found a few ppl that said use both coolers but that to much of headf**k trying to re thread it all

B&M or PWR make brilliant stacked plate coolers. I've also bypassed the rad some time ago and with a 120% increase in power put through it has held up well.

When the rad died last month I finally mounted it properly.

Just make sure you fit the biggest one you can get in front of the radiator
