vs statesman 304 engine go in with extractors on??

hey all got a new 304 goin in the vs stato. got me sum tri-y pacemakers
will she slide in nicely with the extractors attached?

if anyones done it on a vr/vs with the varible rack let me know thanks.

Were the pacemakers previously off a calais/statesman?

If they are just regular 5L extractors they won't fit.

yea the whole exhaust is off a statesman..
its hard to find anyone that's fitted pacies on the motor then lowered it all straight in a stato...

Dont like your chances... Just drop the pipes in first but dont bolt them up to anything and tilt them towards the strut towers and then slowly lower the engine in onto the mounts, slip the mount bolts in then line the pipes up to the heads

No they won't. You need to sit the extractors in the engine bay first, then lower the engine in, then bolt them up.

Because the engine is already out, just lay the extractors in the bay and drop the engine in. Saves undoing the rack. You will need to pull the extractors up as you lower the engine though.
