VS Statesman series 3

Would anyone be able to tell me what type of glue/sealant is required to glue the sill rocker panels onto the door sills on a vs statesman?

If you mean these things, I think they use a good quality double sided tape.

Thank you accentstencil for your kind reply, I should have been more specific I mean't the wrap around side skirts that go around the outside of the door sill and are held by push in pins on the underside of the door sill. These are usually painted a silver/grey colour and are made from a type of plastic .Sorry I can't include a photo but my phone camera is on the blink. Cheers, hiker.

I haven't removed one of those before. I really need to respray mine though.

I've used windscreen sealant before because it's easily removed. I hate the way they used sikaflex from the factory. It's too easy to damage the paint when trying to remove it. Double sided tape doesn't really seem to work in the long term
