Hey guys, went to change my steering rack from a variatronic steering rack to a standard rack when i found out the you have to change some of the steering column. Well just letting you all know that the pinion shaft and housing are interchangeable on both racks so there was no need to change steering column at all. Just thought i would share this info because i know it costs an arm and a leg to get them replaced and because all ive read on google is people changing a bit on the column.
