Vs Supercharger

    Hey guys i found a vs supercharger that came of an actual holden engine. just wondering if i bought it would it be a straight bolt on or would i need to do anything else ie trainsmission, ECU stuff like that cheers

    Yes mate lots of things are needed Heads are different therefore you'll need them or get yours modified the manifold that the chargers bolts onto injectors ecu belts and lots of other little things need changing/modifying. Also the supercharged motors are different designed to handle boost etc. Best option try and find a whole motor with all the goodies

    Well depending on condition of it 700 not a bad price. But you'll need spend quite a bit if you want a factory look setup. You could always have it remotely mounted off to the side but a lot of things need upgrading. Cost would go into a couple of thousand. And you can get a whole motor for that which will be stronger than the ecotec

    ok wat if i buy a v8 enigne instead will i need a new trainsmission aswell or how would that work

    best bet would be to search the local wreckers and put your coin away untill something your after pops up:thumbsup: their is alot of wreckers that sell the whole v8 motor and box in good nick from wreckers for $2500
