vs t5 manual rattle noise NEED HELP !!!! Any ideas ?????

hi i have a vs commodore with a t5 5 speed

i was driving the other day then all of a sudden a rattle noise started from the gearbox i drove straight home to have a look and realised that when my foot is pushed in on the clutch the noise would go but then would start again once release, rattles in every gear but really bad in 2nd so this noise is in every gear even reverse and neutral but goes once clutch is pushed in any ideas would be appreciated should i get another gearbox or is this a minor problem cheers !
