Vs tail shaft for sedan

Hey fellas, im taking motor and manual t5 gearbox out of a vs ute and putting into sedan, will the ute tail shaft fit into the sedan or will it be to long or will the sedan (that was fitted with an auto) tail shaft be ok to use

Im not 100% sure but i dont think it will work. ute and wagon are same from my knowledge. Someone on here will know for sure

Wheel base is different.

All you have to do is use the front half of the ute tailshaft and the back half of the wagon tailshaft and it will fit.

Basically front half is to suit engine/gearbox.
Rear half is to suit the chassis.
