    Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knows if VT/VX thermo fans will fit in a VS? Or are they too wide for a VS. Also, do you think that they would work alright or would they be too far away from the engine?

    Thanks.

You can most likely make them fit. I got AU thermos in my 304. Not a great fit, but they fit and work.

Oh yeah sorry I forgot to add that mine is a V6 but in a couple of months its going to have the supercharged V6, thats why I was wondering if they would be too far away for the engine or not.

If I ever get the chance, I might have to pull the thermo fans out of my WH Statesman and see if they fit. They should be the same as a normal commodore.

You should be ableto run whatever the VS super6 runs. Im not that sure that its anything special though, it may still run the stock setup for all i know. Depends on what u will be running really as to how much cooling you want. Maybe just seeing if you can get a thiker core in the stock size radiator might be a better less hassel and tidier way to do things.

Yeah your right. Well when I am ready to fit the engine, I will be replacing the radiator because I have never done anything with it since i've had it (except changing coolant). So I might see if I can get a thicker one. I thought that having the VT/VX style thermo fans would look nicer in the engine bay as well.
