Hey guys,

One of my transmission cooler lines was busted to i removed the old ones and am now running new ones (well, ones i got from the wreckers).

Just wanting some pics or an explanation of how the lines run on the front/side of the engine. I know they go under the harmonic balancer, and then im not sure if they go over or under the oil filter? i know they hug the block afterwards but i've tried for like 3 hours to get them to fit back in and i think i'm doing it wrong.

Cheers,
Nathan

Welcome to my worrrrrld Nathan. I'm trying to make my damn exhaust flange fit back but the transmission cooling lines seem to be in the way! (Engine change) I wasted hmmm 2 hours yesterday just fiddling with that flange thingy. I want to know where they go too... (can't remember how they went relative to the join of the exhaust pipe to the RH side manifold.) I see a bend in them suggesting they go on the block side, but still.... am out this morning to 'Pocket-a-Part' to find an old vs with engine and tranny in tact so I can 'seeee' how it works. I need a 3rd hand/arm most likely to shove them out of the way.

Damn it must be just my phone or something.
If someone can take a few pics of how the trans cooler lines run at the RH engine mount exhaust and bell housing I’d appreciate it.

The diagram is in the file above. Losh even posted a screenshot to help you. If you can’t figure it out from that it’s best you pay somebody to do it.

Hint: remove the drivers side header if you want to do it properly.
