Another thing I'd like to point out is that this bucket of bolts is my freedom my play thing and it's a relief being able to dodge sh1t up and not have to comply with typical standards, being my own vehicle any corners cut are fully acceptable,I have noticed a pattern of bought items failing and backyard built stuff lasting and it's a rough ol gal not a pretty car that's for sure and it's worth as much as the wheel nuts on some I work on

I read awhile ago that a guy from Lara put the 6l80 into his vs years ago.

And if the 6l80 fits the 4l80 being a smaller case will fit too. The 4l80e is just a electronic turbo 400.

Yes, you need the big hammer. But its only needed for the shift linkages on the left hand side of the box, then the shifter will be more centralised (for the drivers sitting position).
