afternoon all i have a pair of suposed v6 front ultra low springs, they're blue so assumed lovels and HF 12LLLL is what i can just make out on the springs. no reference to them in the catalog under vr-s or other manufacture. i know how low they are from standard, but what im after is diamensions from the ultra low springs itself. can anyone with a set out of the car measure the height, how many coils and inside diameter of the coils.. so i have something to compare, dont really care if its a king or pedders, more for comparison. if you have a superlow front v6 spring handy, could you also post up its stats. Cheers
The free standing height of the spring won't really give you a true comparison as to how low they will be in the car. I had two rear springs out of the rear of a VT, one Kings, one some other brand, didn't know what they were. The Kings were physically smaller by about 40mm so the owner of the car assumed they would be lower in the car. The kings actually sat higher than the unknown brand.
this i understand, but they're only 225mm high and seam very very small, which is why i wanted a rough comparitive spring to go by. i dont want to change the fronts and find they are infact the totally wrong spring. then have to undo it all. i dont have any spare struts to test it out on.
does anyone have a set of superlow or ultralow springs they can measure up? i havent attempted to swap them because they look too small to be trapped.. more so they dont spin or move, not bounce out, i know they cant up front.
225mm high ?? that seems way too small. I am sure mine were longer than that. You will also need shortened shocks to suit.
yea got the lowered kyb's in the front already. i remember the supers to be short but wouldnt have thought the ultras be this short.
