I heard 16 is normally Ecotec territory, is yours stock?

My brother ran his VS ute at 15.3 and then after buying my VR sedan ran a 16 flat. Both stock.

So sounds like your in the right territory.

Nice I'm just curious was it a 6 and auto or manual?
I was told mine would get low 15s with bolt ons including rockers and shorter diff gears (auto)

Vs Ute was a Ecotec 5 speed manual with LSD

VR sedan was a Buick with 4 speed auto and a 2.5 inch Cat back with "Hi Flow" cat and pacemakers.

The ute had higher ratio Diff gears though.

Thats just how the standard S-pack utes are deliverd. probably why it went faster. It had 3.4's

Oh fair enough. Looking at 3.7's in mine and then HRRockers hopefully get into late 14s

nah not stock, but just realised a few issues why i wasnt in the high 14's, transmision fluid is black as ****, which is probly why from 3rd to 4th it was just reving its guts out not changing properly, could have shaved a few extra mili seconds off, but going back next month with shift kit, and finally found my self a LSD for my baby haha

Aussie Hustler, I had a VS sedan auto with similar mods to yours (1.9 roller rockers 25mm manifold spacer, cold air, 69mm throttle body, extractors and 2.5", ebay chip, ported MAF, slightly larger injectors, stock gearing) and my best run at willowbank was 14.9@93mph. Beat a vy ss over the line on that run although he ran a 14.74, I got the jump on him.
