VS Ute - canopy connect to body

Hi there,
My daily VS ute has a hard lid with the locks busted since I've had it. I want to put a canopy on it and there are a few second hand ones around.
I was wondering how do they secure to the body? The ute has a tub liner in it.

The one I had used bolts straight through the top of the ute tub sides and the flat bit along the bottom edges of the canopy.

Silastic sealed the rubber to the rear of the turret.

Quite simple really but left holes in sides when I took it off.

The one on my old ute, I had to drill holes into the rails on top of the tub. Two at the front, two at the back.
Drop bolts through the inside rail of the canopy and then nuts up underneath. The front roof seal scratched the paint.
