hey guys now i have a vs ute that stalls out randomly ive changed the fuel pump twice!! now the tricky bit is being a ute behind the drivers seat theres to port wholes which if i take the cover off i can put my hand through to the tank on the right hand side is the end of the fuel pump , Now wen it conks out i put my hand through wiggle the the clip on the pump ( that has two wires going into the cabin ) and she starts up no prbz sometymes for weeks somtyms days??? But its getting dangerous now as it done it at a busy intersection the other day and i nearly got kleaned up!!! thanx any advice will be appreciated:bang:
Maybe one of the wires that supply power (where you wiggle them) has broken internally or has a bad connection. Maybe you need to basically rewire the power supply to the pump in the area where it seems to be supplying intermittent power. Are the wires hot as you jiggle them?
na not at all!!! its towo wires that conect to a clip on the end of the pump ? theres no visible craks as i can c. ive puled the clip off and given a slight clean but yeah !!! looks like just a bit to much for d.i.y just dont wana take to a auto lek and pay probly a good amount to find 1 week later still doin it?? thanks for tha advice might give her another check over!!!
