VS Ute Fuel Sender Unit

Hi All, Just having a quick search and not having a lot of luck. Does anyone have a lead on a new sender unit for a VS ute? What are my chances? Or do I start looking for someone wrecking? Would appreciate any leads.

mate only second hand at the moment until some body starts to make them like rare spares

Yep, and make sure it suits a VS ute as VR, won't work. Neither will VS sedan or wagon.

Sorry to butt in - but - does the VT ute sender work? or is the VS unit unique ?? I'm having the same problem - cant find one for the VS ute !!

VT is totally different sender to VS one.
You can fit a VT sender unit on top of tank but it takes a lot of modification/cutting/welding along with changing lines and different fittings.

VT sender also works backwards and slightly less range ohms reading then the VS fuel gauge needs to work accurately

What makes you say only VS ?
You would think VR utes are basically the same model, obviously wagon/sedan are different as in shape of tank and sender.

IIRC, the VR and VS tanks have different vapour separators, and the return line plumbling is different; so not swappable.
