Hi All,
Does anyone no if a VU ute fuel tank will fit into a VS ute?

No. I tried this with my VP.
VP tank swaps with VS, which is what I ended up doing from memory.

Not sure about that, a VR tank is different to VS.

Unless its just the module that's different and the VR module fits in a VS tank.

Not sure how you wold think beefy vu tank would fit let alone work with all the differences.

I think sender units are different although been too long since had tank out of vr or vs ute...do remember anoying twisty technique getting it back into swirlpot though.

Do know vp ute has return line on side of tank & feed only on sender unit like vl or early vn sedans & want to say vr & vs has feed & return on sender unit.

Could be wrong but don't recall them having silly return line hose to swirlpot like sedans whose swirlpot more centre of tank instead ute swirlpot more to left close to sender unit.

I am pretty sure it was VS tank. I used my fuel pump. I recall how I cut my hand up a fair bit getting the old one out. This tests me though. Maybe 2004?
