    Hi Guys.

I got a 97 VS V6 Ute with a Getrag gearbox. My problem is that the previous owner for some unknown reason cut the wiring loom just behind the engine that i think goes to the Reverse Switch and Speed Sensor on my gearbox. I have to get these both working. My best guess is that they both join up to where the engine loom was cut but there is also two holes in the floor next to gearbox.

My first question is do they join to engine loom or go through the floor?
Second question is if they join to engine loom which colours are what? (have both genuine and gregorys w/s manuals and neither makes much sense in the wiring diagram)
In the unlikely chance they go through the floor where do they go from there? Cant see any loose wires or anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Need to get past rego

    Cheers James

Thanks mate that would be appreciated. I got the reverse switch sorted. Now its just the speed sensor that is doing my head in. Nothing seems to make much sense. Unless the wires change colours between the gearbox and the engine?
