VS Ute Harmonic Balancers - Wrong One?

Is it possible to fit the wrong Harmonic Balancer to a vs ute? I was under the impression that the VR, VS and VT balancers were the same?

Is it possible to fit the wrong Harmonic Balancer to a vs ute? I was under the impression that the VR, VS and VT balancers were the same?

Did someone sell you the wrong one? When I ordered mine I had an idea that VP/VR are mostly the same but possibly not early VP as the local parts bloke had different part numbers for early VP and different again for VS. It was quite confusing making sure I had the right one. In the end I had to tell him my build date. Given that VS has a different engine the parts supplier should have not sold you a part for a Buick.....
