vs ute s2 5 speed manual
    Hi guys
I have a vs commodore ute that i recently had the air-conditioning tested and re-gassed and since then the hazard lights seem to come on when
they feel like it ... i've replaced the body control module thinking a fault may have occurred within, but i've still got the problem
i have also replaced the flasher relay in hope that may have been the problem, and the hazard switch itself seems to be ok as well
can anyone help me with this issue ???? it would be much appreciated thanks

the switch may be ok but have you checked the wiring harness for damage?

maybe. sounds like it could be a short somewhere along the line. could just be coincidence that it started after the regas

yea. the switch could look ok but be damaged internally. try it with another switch

i have replaced it b4 with similar problems but this time... when they come on the interval they come on for changes as if the relay was sticking on, but
the fact they come on without the switch being pressed, well yeah led me to check the switch internally and replace the relay but i still have the problem, it just
all seems odd. i will replace it tomorrow though if i can't find any shorts in the harness

Well the indicator stalk is part of that wiring so the fault could be coming from that side of things.
