Vs ute leaking coolant but temp gauge not going up

Hi everybody,

I am new to this, sorry if I forget anything.
My vs v8 ute leaks coolant from the overflow hose. It only happens when I drive around for a bit maybe half an hour. The temp gauge does not go pass quarter. I filled the overflow tank only to halfway. The overflow. Tank then fills up and is nearly at boiling when it leaks. Need some help please, is it a new rad cap? Or is it something else. Cheers

New cap and go from there.

My VQ 5L reservoir no matter how much you filled it would always empty itself and leave only about an inch in the bottom of it. Never lost any coolant from the radiator and never over heated.
It was just one of those things.
