VS ute Tie down points???

    has anyone got photos of tie down points or eyelets they have fitted to there vr/vs ute?

    any ideas would be good, i dont like the external rail you can buy, they look pox!

    i bolted some sort of eyelet thing to each of the removable panels in the inside of the tray. seem to work pretty good to tie the moty and push bikes in there. what are you going to be tying down mate?

    just general crap, day to day stuff, odd load to tip, to from bunnings etc!

    Not sure if its factory of the previous owner did it, but at the front either side of the fuel tank cover, I have a hole with a nut welded on the other side, just got some eyelets and screwed in.
    at the rear I had the holes, so just got an eyelet with a nut.
    Ill try and get pics on the weekend.

    those holes are just some drainage, don't usually have the nut welded on the other side though.

    Nah got the drainage ones as well (at the front) the rears are possibly drainage, i should check that.

    ahh, i think the only standard drainage holes in the utes are those two at the front. thats all i have anyway.

    Tie down points must have been done my previous owner then. Ill grab some photos to show where they are to the OP.

    i made 3 on each side of my ute. the bolts hold the tub liner in so the hole should be there. i made them out of big o rings & flat metal i got from bunnings.

    I like Jokerflingo's, probably the best side mount ones I've seen.

    Heres mine ( there one in each corner)
